Can you believe it - there are people who do not have computers? Businesses that don't have websites? Professionals who do not know how to use Google? If you are reading this, then you are probably part of the group that is 'plugged in' - but don't forget there are still a huge amount of Americans and people in the whole world who live without computers, without phones, without technology.
Strange as this may seem, it is a fact that we must remember. And not all of them are retirees! Checkout this amazing report from Pew Research:
Overall, 84% of U.S. households own a computer, and 73% of U.S. households have a computer with a broadband connection to the internet, the bureau reported. These findings are right in line with survey findings of the Pew Research Center, which found that 70% of Americans have broadband access.
That means - 16% of U.S. households do NOT own a computer!
I guess that puts a damper on internet marketing strategies.
